CLI provides development projects for disadvantaged communities in Laos, one of the poorest countries in Asia. You can make a donation using the Paypal panel on the right, or through our other payment partner, MightyCause, below.
For donors outside the US please note: most bank accounts in Laos (including CLIs) are generally in US dollars, therefore even if you make a donation using British Pounds or Euros for example, it will still eventually have to be converted to US dollars, but please know that it does NOT cost you more.
No exchange rate fees! …It is important to know we have chosen MightyCause as our payment partner because as we are a registered non-profit, we avoid setup costs, monthly charges, additional transaction fees and chargeback fees, indeed, MightyCause only charges a nominal processing fee.
For larger donations over $1,500, it will be more cost effective however to make an international wire transfer (which usually costs a total of $40 irrespective of the amount sent, though not difficult, it does involve a little more paperwork for the donor which we would be happy to assist you with).
